FAQ's 

Are the Educator tours for teachers only?

NO WAY! We encourage anyone to come along - it may be a friend or family member of an educator booked on the trip. All people, not just educators could find the school tours interesting and worthwhile, or you may decide to sit these sections out and enjoy some free time. 

Do I have to be from a particular country to sign up?

Again, NO WAY! Our tours start and end from the the moment you're picked up from the Airport in Entebbe, Uganda. So absolutely anyone, from anywhere in the world is able to join us! 

Are the tours tax deductable? 

The educator tours are designed to be a tax deduction to be able to claim the tour, flights and additional expenses. Please check with your accountant for further details as we cannot give taxation advice to individuals.

Do you offer payment plans? 

Yes! When you book you will have the option to pay all at once, or pay in 6 installments. All bookings require a 250 dollar deposit upfront. 

I've booked! What am I responsible for before I can go on the trip? 

Because things change and unexpected life events happen, we require you to have travel insurance. You may use any travel insurance company. If you think you may ride on a motorbike you must purchase this insurance add on.

You are also required to complete your Yellow fever vaccine and apply for your Ugandan visa online at least a month before departure. We will be in touch after you book with more information on this and guide you through the process! 

What happens if I cancel? Can I get a refund?

If you choose to cancel your trip 5 months or more before the first day of the tour you will receive a refund.

If you choose to cancel your trip between 5 to 2 months prior to the first day of the tour you will receive a refund, minus the deposit.

If you choose to cancel your trip within 2 months of the first day of the tour, you will receive no refund.

When should I book my flights?

After booking you will first need to wait for confirmation that we have the minimum number attending for the trip to go ahead and book.
